hairdresser's tools



The tools of a hairdresser are many and very interesting, the following list shows the tools used by any hairdresser. They may seem a lot , but each one of them is essential for the job and for perfect results. 

  • Hairdressing scissors: every hairdresser prefers to maintain their own personal kit of hair-cutting and hair-trimming scissors, also which most consider their lucky scissors.
  • Water spray: This is to wet the client's hair when styling or cutting
  • Hair spray, mousse, styling gels, bridal makeup kits etc.
  • Shampoo and conditioner
  • Blow dryers
  • Hair irons: This is used to straighten the hair
  • Curlers: These are of different types, depending on the type of curls a client desires
  • Hair steamer: This is used to give a steam after a head massage or then also to provide heat to the head while perming and hair coloring
  • Threads: This is for threading
  • Plucker/Tweezer: To pull out in-growth
  • Wax heaters
  • Facial steam machine
  • Mixing bowls
  • Nail cutters
  • Feet scrubbers
  • Hand brushes
  • Cuticle cutters      
  • Buffers for the nails
